Description
Brussel Sprouts look like a miniature cabbage. Darkish green in colour, with small leaves and white veins, the leaves overlapping and tightly enclose smaller inside leaves and core. Related to cabbages and cauliflower.

Excellent source of vitamin C. Moderate source of dietary fibre and iron.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Choose small, compact and firm heads with bright green colour.
Store in an airtight bag in refrigerator crisper and use as soon as possible after purchase.
